Medically speaking, webbing (syndactyly) refers to the union of two or more fingers or toes, which usually only involves a skin connection between the two, but may rarely also include fusion of bones in the affected digits. My nephew, now a pre-teen, was born with his two lil’ middle fingers fused and had them separated as a toddler, adorable tiny cast and all. According to Dan, It is not a defect, but rather a sign of extreme coolness. In fact, the condition empowers the fused victim with a positive force field.
